Faiz 3rd Birthday today (my 4th child)
Kek Faiz kali ni simple kali ni simpel je sebab tak bawak gadget ke sini. Semlm pun gi beli nozzle utk tujuan dekor kek ini. Tp kaler tak der.......so nak senang pakai je fresh cream dan biarkan putih je. Letak je sprinkle utk nampak kalerful skit.......and cucuk patung2 yang Faiz pilih sendiri.

Terasa hampeh je nak dekor kalau mcm2 benda tak der......demi anakku.......layan je la.

Di bawah resipi keknyer:
Mula2 buat je sponge kek utk loyang 9 inci:
Kek sponge vanila

Bahan-bahan
16 biji telur
500 gm gula kastor
500 gm tepung kek (superfine)- Nini pakai all purpose flour je
secubit garam
200 gm air
250 gm mentega cair
50 gm ovalette
10 gm baking powder
5 gm esen vanilla

Cara Membuatnya

1. Masukkan semua bahan telur, gula, garam, air, esen vanilla dan ovalette ke dalam mangkuk adunan.
2. Putar kelajuan sederhana selama 30 saat.
3. Kurangkan speed dan masukkan tepung yang telah diayak bersama serbuk penaik.
4. Putar speed perlahan sehingga semua tepung telah bergaul sebati.
5. Putar speed laju hingga adunan gebu.
6. Sederhanakan speed dan masukkan mentega cair.
7. Putar lagi hingga adunan sebati.
8. Masukkan dalam acuan dan bakar.

Note: Saya buat hanya ΒΌ untuk dapatkan kek sekilo berat selepas lepa.

Custard filling:
100 gm instant custard mix
150ml cocktailjuice
200ml whipping cream
1 tin fruit cocktail (825gm, drained)

Decoration:
sprinkle
whipping cream (whipped)

Method:
For custard filling, soak instant custard in cocktail juice and hand whisked until thickened. Add in cream and tinned fruits. Divide into 2 portions.

For assemble: Place one slice cake in a 9 inch loose base cake tin and spread one portion of filling onto it. Top with another slice of cake and another portion filling. Top with the last slice of cake. Refrigerate until set. Remove cake from tin.

Spread whipped cream all over the cake and decorate the cake with sprinkle. Make borders below and on top at the edge of the cake.
Refrigerate.
